Suddenly Human At the end of this episode, there is a pivotal scene where Picard says 'there was a crime committed but it was mine ... with the best of intentions, we tried to convince [Jono] [of his human life] ... and, in so doing, thoroughly failed to listen to his feelings, his needs.' And they decide to release him. My only complaint with this episode is they've already done damage by showing him this other life. Would he have not been happier never knowing? That was their error, their mistake. Which they rectified, in mind, when they realized. However, that is not enough. This story is not over. There should be a sequel episode that deals with Jono's nightmares and flashback memories once he is returned to the Talarians, about the previous life he discovered he had.
