Nice little touches in 'The Cage':  

The initial flyby / closeup of the Enterprise bridge: as we zoom in on and
descend into / inside the bridge, the angle of the interior footage adjusts
with our descent angle, the glass bubble shimmers and fades as we pass 
through it ... merging interior footage with exterior reality into a single
whole ... beautiful

"Who lives ... and who dies" Christopher Pike scene in his quarters: the
starfield with little stars flying by ...
