Share Day a Big Success!

The Family History Share Day recently held by ARFHS was a big success. 51 persons attended the event and a number of new members were recruited. 52% of the attendees were from counties other than Randolph, and three were from out of state. Book sales and new memberships raised a nice amount of money for our various projects, and a number of members exchanged information and added to their family history collections. Cudos to the members who made this event a big success!

Don't Send Checks to Members !!!!

Anyone who wished to join ARFHS, renew a membership, or order on of our many publications is reminded that ALL payments must be made out to ARFHS and mailed to the group. Please, DO NOT make checks out to any of the officers or mail the checks to the officers at their personal addresses. This only creates problems when the officers then have to cash the checks and get them to the proper persons. All society business needs to be conducted directly to the PO Box so that the fastest service can be given each request. Thanks for all of your continued support.
