The record below is from a book I found at an auction in the summer of 1995. It was put out by the State Superintendent of Schools in West Virginia. The counties show an alphabetical listing of all students in the county who made the Honor Roll with their age, town, times tardy and days absent. There is also a listing broken down by county and individual schools of all students who had perfect attendance for the year
I thought it might interest some readers to see ancestors listed on The Honor Roll. I am not able to list anywhere near all of the book, so I thought I would list a couple partial counties. I would be glad to check any individual county for our members to see if a specific person is there. I plan to donate this book to our library In the future.
