The clergy abuse scandals long-smoldering in Europe may be flaring into a major conflagration at last with revelations of sex scandals in the Vatican, and even in Pope Benedict's old diocese in Germany.
The Vatican has expressed dismay that some people have been trying to blame the pope personally. However, whatever Joseph Ratzinger did or didn't do as a bishop is nothing compared to his responsibility for the clergy scandals!

Just published, this book lays out the amazing story of sex among Catholic clergy from the founding of the Church to the present, including the surprising roles of Pope Benedict XVI, Vatican II, and the Inquisition, showing how they came about, their ultimate disappearance – and why that may not be a good thing.

A Medieval Comedy
The tale of a young man in 14th Century France with the worst summer job in history, as an intern with the Inquisition looking into everybody's secrets. It's a dark, off-beat historical comedy with a clever lad as the hero, his much-favored knightly cousin, the beautiful girl they both love – plus evil inquisitors, loose monks, the last living Knight Templar and a quest for the Holy Grail.
