Heartworm preventative is recommended yearround in the Albuquerque 
area. Testing only necessary every 3rd year if kept on preventative

In-Home Euthanasia:

I do offer in-home euthanasia for my patients that are suffering 
or terminally ill.  I prefer to give the ailing pet a sedative to
reduce any pain and relieve anxiety. Once that has taken effect I
will then administer the IV drug to end their life humanely.  I  
work with a pet cremation service and can schedule them to come  
meet me at the housecall to take your pet for cremation.
