Albuquerque is experimenting with "Bike Boxes" in 5 intersections including MLK at Edith and Pennsylvania at Comanche. The boxes eliminate vehicle "right on red" where they are supposed to wait behind the cyclists.

CSPC, Snell, or ANSI Approved Helmets are Required for All NMTS Rides

 
The New Mexico Touring Society is a bicycling club of recreational riders of all ages and abilities, from beginners to experts and families. Volunteers sponsor one-day and multi-day road and mountain bike rides. Check out our ride schedule to participate in one of our rides or come to one of our monthly meetings to meet us.
League of American Bicyclists The NMTS is an affiliate of the League of American Bicyclists.
Monthly Meetings are held the 3rd Monday of January through November at 7pm.
