The Glorieta Battlefield Coalition (GBC) partnering with the Pecos National historical Park, New Mexico Division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, and the Texas Division of the United Daughters of the Confederacy played the lead role in establishing the Texas Vista Site on the Glorieta Battlefield. The Texas Vista Site was dedicated Aug 1-2, 2009 and the dedication event was published in the Jan-Feb 2009 issue of the Confederate Veteran. To learn more click -- Texas Vista.
