| "Feathery Bowl", because the working title, Fletched Bowl (from fletching, the feathers on the back end of an arrow) didn't quite do it for me. This bowl is about 13" in diameter by 5" high, with 313 pieces of wood. Species incorporated in the bowl are walnut, cherry, maple, Honduran mahogany, bloodwood, and lacewood. It's the largest bowl form I've done in any serious way. |
