This design is 3 3/4" high by 9 1/4" in diameter, and has 66 pieces. The base
is maple, the plaid is maple, Honduran mahogany, and padauk (white,
light-brown, and orange), and the border is walnut. This design used to be my signature piece. Between the larger ones like the one shown here, and the smaller size shown in one of the other pages here, there was a time when I'd done more of this design than of any other I think of it as "where it all began." |
