Prior to December of 1998, this was the most intricate pattern I'd attempted, though perhaps not the most challenging, since the detail contains only 90 degree angles. It's 5" high by 11 1/2" wide, and is made from 445 pieces. The body of the bowl is Honduran Mahogany. The pattern is maple, walnut, and padauk (white, brown, orange), and the narrow accent rings are purpleheart. |
