The minutes of the May 12, 1999 meeting were approved as presented. E. Financial Status: In addition to interest income, $2 was received from the sale of University History Handbooks. F. Open Forum: None. II. Action items A. Silver Avenue Task Force. The Task Force will have a meeting, tentatively scheduled for Friday, June 11 at Brian's house at 5:30, to discuss possible reconsideration of the recommendation for the first phase. B. 410 Stanford, SE conditional use request. Agreed that porch conversation did not qualify as a garage conversion, but that we would not oppose it since it was existing. The wall as proposed within ten feet of the sidewalk requires a variance, which we do not support. We will not oppose a conditional use for the wall if it is moved back to 11 feet or more from the sidewalk so that it qualifies for a conditional use. III. Discussion items A. Block Party. Clay reported that Heights Community Center has been booked for Sunday, August 29. Since he has a new job with the County Parks Department, Clay will have less time for the block party, but will do the things that he promised. Help is needed to obtain food and to make contact for some of the booths. B. TVI Yale Annex. Don reported on the second meeting with TVI officials. They will now do a feasibility study on the proposed day care center, including determining the cost of renovating the building and whether a provide provider is available to operate the center. Don also suggested that Tres Manos be contacted as part of the feasibility study. IV. Information items A. Co-President's Report-Brian. None. B. Co-President's Report-Danny. C.
