PGN Info

PGN is short for Portable Game Notation, a nice, cooperatively developed way of storing chess games in ASCII format. It's designed to be readable by both humans and machines, and it's quite flexible.

To view PGN files in Windows, there's a nice program called PGN Reader. It allows going through large PGN files, with a simple interface. The file README.TXT includes information on how to set up pgnrd.exe as a helper application for Netscape.
