Spider Jerusalem OK, so this guy isn't JB as a badass cartoon occultist. I got the image some centuries ago from a friend who does some coloring for DC Comics. He's rather cryptic and never explained the image. Since he and another friend and I had previously done some comics work together involving me as a model, I thought perhaps it was some flattery.

The dapper fellow here is actually Spider Jerusalem, from DC Comics' excellent comic book Transmetropolitan. Run out and buy it now, it's incredibly good.

It's been pointed out that attitudinally, I much more closely resemble King Mob from The Invisibles. However, he's lots more buff than I am. In any case, run out and buy that comic as well. If you like Phillip K. Dick, bizarre conspiracy theories, kinky tantric sex, transvestite ass-kickers, magick, time travel, etc. etc., you'll love it. Likely you'll decide that Grant Morrison is a demigod, as I have.
