Made in Heaven

Information about Queen's last studio album and singles:

The album release dates were November 6th and 7th and 8th, 1995 worldwide. The album is available on CD, Cassette, and limited edition Gatefold Vinyl album with ivory colored record. (The latter was a UK release, though Hollywood Records bought some and placed their stickers on the cover and released them in North America.)

Which songs are new and which are new versions of songs we've heard before? Are there extra tracks?

The track listing is as follows, songs not indicated otherwise are new: The songs that are "re-worked" versions have Freddie’s original vocals *not* vocals that were recorded after Innuendo. (Many magazine reviews have gotten this wrong). For these tracks, the old vocals were used, but Brian, Roger, and John did completely new instrumental tracks.

Where is the cover picture taken

The album cover photo was taken at Lake Geneva in Montreux, Switzerland. There are two different cover photos -- one on the Vinyl and one on the CD/Cassette releases. The sunrise photo was used on the CD booklet and Cassette, while a sunset photo was used on the vinyl release.

Is the picture of Freddie a statue? Where is it?

Yes, it is a picture of a statue of Freddie. It is the miniature of the statue which was commissioned to commemorate Freddie, and the picture was taken in the sculptor's garden and combined with the photo from the lake. The full-size statue was not yet built when the photo was taken, and there was a lot of controversy surrounding its final location. The completed statue is now in Montreux, Switzerland.
