The Cross was Roger Taylor's side band. Formed in 1987, they released three albums before the officially broke up in 1992. (They did perform one more live gig after they broke up.) The albums were _Shove It_, _Mad, Bad, and Dangerous to Know_, and _Blue Rock_. The members were: Roger, Josh Macrae, Peter Noone, Spike Edney, and Clayton Moss.
The band's albums unfortunately did not sell very well. As a result, their third album was only released in Germany and Holland--not even in England where the band was from. After that album, their record company decided not to renew their contract. At that point, The Cross decided to break up.
The Brian May Band is the band Brian formed to take on tour to support his solo album _Back to the Light_. It consists of Brian, Cozy Powell, Spike Edney, Neil Murray, and Jamie Moses. During most of the tour, Shelley Preston and Kathy Porter were the backing singers for the band.
Sadly, Cozy Powell passed away shortly before Brian's _Another World_ tour. Eric Singer, who had played with Kiss, was chosen to be the drummer for this tour.
There are no officially released live albums from Roger's or The Cross's tours. There was one cassette of a Cross gig that could be purchased through the fan club years ago, but it is long gone.
There is a live album and accompanying video release from Brian's "Back to the Light" tour, called "Live at the Brixton Academy". It was released in Europe and Japan.
It was a version of "God" (The Dream is Over) by John Lennon, which is about how he doesn't believe in the Beatles anymore, and his feelings about the end of the Beatles. Brian completely re-wrote the lyrics to talk about his feelings about the end of Queen, and performed the song in the encore at many concerts. (None of the lyrics are the same as Lennon's.)
Here are the lyrics for the two versions of God (The Dream is Over).

from the group sent me these lyrics. I've lost your name!)
No! This is a Brian May from Australia. The only soundtracks our Brian has done are the ones Queen has done, and music for Shakespeare's play Macbeth done by the Red and Gold Theatre Company in London, but this music is not commercially available. Two specific ones that come up frequently are the soundtrack for "Road Warriors" and for "Nightmare on Elm Street (Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare)"--these are absolutely *not* our Brian! The Australian Brian May passed away sometime in 1998 or 1999.
Not quite film scores, but "our" Brian has done music for the UK Spiderman radio series. This music was performed and released under the pseudonym "MC Spy-D and Friends". Brian also did music for the "Rise of the Robots" computer game. Because of Brian's record label, however, not as much of Brian's music was used as was originally intended.
