The big mouse on the top (Alice) weighs 200g, and is 10 cm long (excluding the tail). The medium mouse (Bob) is half as long, and little Cathy is half the size of Bob. The cube on the top right originally was the same size as Alice. It was cut in half in each of 3 directions, and 1/8th of it was used to make Bob. Another 1/8th was used to make a copy of Bob, shown lower right, who was cut in half and squashed a bit to show that his muscle strenght is proportional to 4 cm². A third 1/8th of the big cube was itself cut in half in each of 3 directions, and one of the tiny cubes was used to make Cathy.
