Entrada Park proposal
Here is the proposal, as it was drawn up in the fall of '98.
Along the North
runs Cerillos, and Don Diego comes up from the bottom of the drawing.
The lot drops 8 feet from the bottom of the drawing towards Cerillos.
The dead-end piece of road that runs along the right-hand side serves as
access to the houses and small businesses along the East side, and a number
of parking places has been provided. In the park,
you can see the sculpture pads, paths and shade trees. A pull-out bus stop
is at the NE corner.
Currently, Don Diego widens to 3 lanes at the approach to Cerillos, and the
little street along the right is connected at its Northern end. In the
proposal, Don Diego has been kept to 2 lanes, and the shortcut road on the
right is blocked off.
The side view below is taken along the line A-A in the plan view above. You
can see the mound at the NW corner of the park, topped by a 'welcome to
the neigborhood' sign, and the 8' rise of the lot
is clear in this projection.
