Concerning the parking rights near Entrada, Laura argued that his matter was considered before, and decided not in the manner of the city attorney's opinion of September 2001.

Below is the text of the 1984 document about this. This is when the current Entrada Park area was acquired by the City. This is presumably 'the property' in the following text. I have inserted commentary in red cursive into the text.

STIPULATION

THIS MATTER having been settled by the parties, Petitioner, City of Santa Fe, being represented by its attorney, Joseph Shattuck, and the Respondents, Anthony and Betty Fiorina, being represented by their attorney Donald Montoya,
   IT IS STIPULATED AND AGREED that
   1. The Respondents shall have and take as just compensation for the taking of the property herein the sum of Twenty Two
'the property herein' is the current park
Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($22,400.00) hereinbefore deposited by the Petitioner with the Clerk of the Court, and in addition, the Respondents shall have as just compensation for the taking, the property set forth on the plat attached hereto and incorporat- ed herein as Exhibit "A" and as delineated on Exhibit "A" as Tract
I have taken exhibit "A" and overlayed it onto the current map. The scale and alignment came from the property boundaries and the sewer line that appeared both on exhibit "A" and the current maps.

(3) (hereinafter, the "Tract" for purposes of parking up to five automobiles). The Respondents shall keep said Tract clean and shall landscape where appropriate. In addition, the Respondents shall have an easement for the use of five parking spaces on the property owned by the City and located directly across Don Diego Street from the subject property herein so long as the same is owned by the City.
that is, across from the park, on the East side of (old) Don Diego, the same 5 spaces as marked on the map. The city owns some of the dirt on the east side of (old) Don Diego.
2. The easement granted above for parking is subject to the following conditions, the obligations of which shall be considered to be covenants (this Stipulation shall be filed in the Office of the County Clerk) running with the land: a) The Respondents, their successors and assigns shall keep the Tract clean and neat and free of debris and park only five automobiles in the easement and shall refrain from placing any structures or attachments on said easement or any other encroachments. The easement will be extinguished if the property is sold by the Petitioner. 3. The Respondents. Anthony and Betty Fiorina. shall not

In this reading, there are only 5 spaces, not 10, and they are as shown on the map. The city has no obligation at all for providing additional parking space for the Fiorina's successors.
