My old clock. Cleaned a bit, and polished the escapement surfaces. The clickspring on the left has been broken forever. Ordered a replacement on Timesavers

This is the one that came from Lorene, via Jeff's office. The back of the pendulum says 1783 in india ink. Would not keep running, but ran fine in the test stand. Back in the case, runs fine.

This is the one that came from Nana and Norman's house. It never ran here, though it ran back in BR, after I serviced it. It was at the clock man near Pecos for a long time. He put new cords on, and a new pendulum suspension spring. He said he could never make it run. Back at our house, it ran for 20 min at a time. Has been running in the repair frame for days. 444 stamped on the back
The minute hand was too loose, it flopped down when reaching 10 after. The flat parts serve to squeeze the shaft inside. I gave is a little extra squeeze. Good friction now.
Hand holds position now
After a lot of searching, I believe both clocks are Gustav Becker clocks: Link
