The stripes define a 'bike lane'. Nice, but wrong.


If all you're going to do is pay for a can of paint to be nice to bicycles, one of the lines should be moved such that the parked cars are along the traffic lane, and the bike lane is to the right of the parked cars, where it is safe.

There are other streets like this (thanks Gary): on Osage Ave, Ave Cristobal Colon, and Country Club Road, and maybe more.
