Comparison and summary
- The problem with having a second entrance on Gilmore is that the
distance on Cerrillos between the main entrance and Gilmore Street
is too
short, so that contention for the center lane between different
traffic flows is unavoidable (variants 1, 2, 3, 4).
- Attempting to remediate the contention will cause some traffic to
end up on the residential streets of the neighborhood (variant 3).
- The blind corner caused by the 8-ft wall in the curve of Gilmore is
a serious concern if there is a Gilmore entrance in the proposed
location.
- The one arrangement where there are no contentions for the center
lane on Cerrillos, and no crossing traffic flows, is variant 5.
