Stanley is buried in the Lookeba Cemetery. It was believed that he was killed
by being thrown from a train by the train crew while it was moving at high
speed. He was apparently traveling from his home near Eakly to find work in the
harvest fields near Enid. The railroad settled with his widow for $200.
