A Flat-Coated Retriever owned and loved by Janice AnthesSparks
is
currently
working
on
his
MACH
and
wishing he had a younger better handler. He is fast and
accurate and loves Agility. In addition, Sparks has begun showing in
Utility A and twice has come within one signal of passing Utility. Due
to his busy performance career and Janice's
judging schedule, Sparks is rarely shown in conformation these days.
This spring Sparks was certified by TDInc as a Therapy dog.
Sparks and I visit the local Children's Psychiatric Unit weekly and he
loves those visits and the kids love him.
Sparks most exciting placement was winning the 6 to 9 month class at the
FCRSA Nationals in Vallejo California in 2004 under the
English Judge
who wrote the book on Flat-coats.
Picture on the left was taken at the FCRSA 2010 Nationals outside the Museum where Sparks took 4th in Veterans conformation 4th in Rally Excellent B and almost passed Utility A (missed the sit signal - seems there were several attractive FCR girls near by that had his attention - guess he found them more interestsing than me).
A Breeding is planned with Judy Gladson's Blue, CH. Victory's Deep Blue Sea JH WC who took a JAM at 2009 FCRSA Nationals. The breeding is planned for fall 2010. I am very excited about a Sparks daughter joining our family. For more information - see Judy's website.
