Training Locations

SSD Training Location Guide

Special notes - Many of the trail head and picnic ground parking sites within the Sandia Ranger District of Cibola National Forest now impose daily access fees. Sandia Search Dog has made arrangements via a special use permit which waves or suspends these fees during scheduled training. Participants must display a sticker issued by the team. Please comply with Cibola National Forest fee payment when not involved in SSD training activities.

Also - Albuquerque Open Space strictly enforces closure hours for many of their open space access parking areas by locking the gates promptly.
