``Your Programmers Guide to Fortran 90 is a masterpiece! I started reading it this holiday weekend up at Sun Valley and couldn't put it down. It is so well organized, concise, and interesting that it should be on the best seller list!''

Bob Sutter, Idaho Department of Water Resources

The Programmer's Guide is a tutorial-style presentation of all the important features of Fortran 90. The topics are presented in an order that is natural for learning. The style is informal and there are many realistic examples. Exercises are provided to test knowledge of the concepts covered. The syntax of Fortran 90 and the intrinsic functions are covered in appendices. In the chapter on arrays, the introduction and a section on generating arrays of random numbers may be viewed. A sample from the chapter on pointers illustrates a sort using trees. The table of contents indicates the overall organization of the book.

Several sample programs may be examined and taken, if you like.
