Here is an alternative solution for Booth Street, a bit bolder than
the one on the first drawing. Basically there are
two drop-off loops, but there is no longer through-going traffic. In
between the loops there should be provisions for emergency vehicles.
Posts that pull out of the ground (and padlocked in place), and making
sure there are no plantings on some straight path, should be enough.
The loops are constructed such that cars pull up to the curb on the outside
of the loop, so that the children do not need to cross any traffic to get
to the school or playing field.
The Eastern loop goes around the existing parking lot.
For the Webber-side entrances, one of the solutions from drawings 1 or 2 could be chosen.
