Eliakim was a private in Capt. Bernard Roman's Artillary from 8 Feb 1776 to 28
Nov 1776 (Battle of Quebec) and was at Ticondroga with Arnold. He nearly died
of smallpxx. He was in the NJ Militia in 1770 and he helped kill John Bacon
and his band of Barnegat pirates.near West Creek, NJ in 1783. He moved to PA in
1806.
