[36] Martha, when quite young, her parentsd left their home in West Virginia,
and went to Schuyler Co. Missouri. Whe Martha was 15, her father died,
and her mother brought the five children, by covered wagon to Mudsock
in Gallia Co., OH. She a member of the Walnut Metho. M. E. church 77 yrs
Samuel Henry Brown enlisted in Co. K, 3rd. WVa Vol. Calvary 06OCT1863,
and was discharged at Wheeling, WV in 1865. He was a Sergeant. Out of
the original 105 men in Co. K, only 12 survived.
Martha and Samuel interred in the Neal Cemetery, Walnut County, Ohio.
Sandy Fork (Mudsock), Oh. in Gallia County.
