Darla divorced Max in 1950. She was injured in an automobile accident
during the early 1960s, and was unable to take care of Pamela. Pamela
was adopted by a family by the name of Lehman, of Albany, IN.

Ewing or Red attended school in Delarare Co. IN. His first marriage
ended in divorce. Mertle was of Bloomington, IN. Ewing worked for
Shower Brothers Cabinet Co., while living in Bloomington. Upon his
return to Albany, he worked for the Albany Paper Mill, He retired from
the Chevrolet Co. of Muncie, IN in the late 1960s. He was a member of
the Christian Church, and the IOOF Lodge. He died in the Ball Memorial
Hospital in Muncie, IN. Ewing was interred in the Strong Cemetery in
Albany, IN.
Not sure the children are to the second marriage. Needs verified.

Samuel, who resided Baltimore, MD; Polly, who married a Mr. Galford and
was rediding in Pennsylvania; and Lita who married a Mr. Baker and was
residing in Pennsylvania as of 1977.
