Wish On A Star

Top-toe and search
Play hide and go seek
Look and listen for riddles
under rock and leaf

If Dexter is right
on Escutcheons we have read
and sinister is left
as it is said

Like the morning glory clinging
with tendrils turned right
and the hop vine curling left
in all of its might

One bearing bright blossoms
funnel shaped in the sun
The other dangling cone flowers
dancing in fun

Then wish on a star
that an answer be sent
for the riddles we find
bringing wonderment
